Of course. Backups are the corner stone of Security. You don’t see them all of the time, but it pays to have them when it all goes wrong. Backups can range in terms of cost, but depending on how you feel about your business and your customer data will justify the cost.

Email Security is software and training that is aimed towards making sure your emails are genuine, coming from a trusted source and have nothing malicious attached.

It comes in two parts the software side of it, which monitors emails and checks it and looks for any abnormalities and dangerous attachments. And there’s the training, which focuses on teaching users how to spot malicious emails or potential attacks.

VPN’s are a great tool aimed towards privacy and protection. They encrypt data that’s traveling across the internet, and they also give access to secure environments, meaning you can control access to sensitive information.

Does every business need one? No. But if you keep data on site (Home,Office etc) then it’s well worth it. There are great open source versions and some that even come included with your Internet Router. There are also paid options which have more features included, so it’s worth looking to see what fits your business requirements.
